TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To secure your date and order, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
The balance of your order is payable in full 2 weeks before your event.
If payment is not received in full two weeks before the booked date, then we reserve the right to cancel your order.
Any changes to the design or size of the cake cannot be made within 2 weeks of the booked date.
My Cake Studio cannot be held responsible for any damage to the cake once we have safely delivered and set it up at your venue. Also we cannot be held responsible for any damage once a cake has been collected.
You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake /sweet treats. Cakes are heavy, and must be out of direct sunlight or heat.
If flowers are provided by an outside source, you acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
My Cake Studio reserves the right to exercise artistic licence in order to guarantee the structural, visual and creative integrity of the cake.
Our products may contain, or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy or other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and not hold us responsible for allergic or adverse reactions.
If you are not happy with your cake or additional products after delivery/collection, please contact My Cake Studio in writing within 24 hours. The original cake/products must be returned in person to prove as evidence for any claims made against it/them (photographic evidence alone is not acceptable). If not specified when ordering, complaints regarding colours, shades, size, flavour and layout will not be considered a genuine reason for complaint, and exchanges or refunds will not be authorised. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, please advise at the point of collection or delivery, at which point My Cake Studio will do their best to rectify the order.
My Cake Studio will photograph your cake/order. We reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you. However, we will not make any photographs public until after your event date, unless you have given permission for us to publish at an earlier time.
Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of My Cake Studio to compete the agreement, and is subject to illness, accidents, unpredictable weather conditions, and other causes beyond our control. Should My Cake Studio be unable to fulfil this agreement, a full refund will be given. Liability is for no more than the cost of the order.
The T&C’s will also be sent to you before the order is been finalised.
