A unique sea life birthday party theme for boys (or girls!)
Confirmed shark sighting ahead... and we just can't wait for you to take a closer look! There's just somefin about this shark wave party that we absolutely adore. In fact, we haven’t been this excited about an ocean celebration since Finding Nemo!
Captured by the incredibly talented Billye Donya, check out this JAWsome party that swam in from The States by Royale Ziegler from But First, Party!. Mumma Rachel Pitzel requested a shark-themed party for her son Grayson’s 8th birthday, and Royale delivered just that… and so much more!
Royale tells us, “With the design for this party, I was really focused on pushing my creative boundaries and doing something new and different for the client. While I love balloon installations, it is time for some new and more imaginative party details to hit the scene!”
We couldn’t agree more – the star of this show was definitely that holographic wave installation by sculptress Ashley Renuart, which was suspended above and behind the kid’s table setting! Can we have one of these at the LENZO HQ please?
With iridescent waves and luminous blue, green and silver tinsel taking centre stage, we are predicting this shark theme will be a huge hit in the upcoming months… just in time for Shark Week (Hoo Ha Ha)!
Shall we dive in to check out the rest of the incredible party elements?
The inspiration behind this birthday were the shark balloons and shark trays from Meri Meri, which lent to the overall colour aesthetic. We’re loving the intermingling of the brilliant shades of blues and greens that were used to elevate the space.
Every last detail was next level: the treats were also elevated to a sophisticated shark vibe, with Josephine LA creating a wave-inspired meringue cake, and shark fin meringues and macarons. The vibe was definitely kid-friendly but chic.
We hope you had an amazing 8th birthday, Grayson, and can’t wait to see how you’ll be celebrating your 9th birthday next year!
LENZO loves a party tip, so we asked Royale Ziegler to share hers:
“Build your design/party concept around something accessible like a plate or fun balloon, and then let your imagination go from there!”
Now, there’s a party theme that we can really sink our jaws into! Yeah, the buoys!
Love, LENZO x
