Here at LENZO, we love getting our creative on during the festive season - making and baking to add to our grand events. Not only is this a fun way to be money savvy, we think that these little DIY additions help provide a personal touch to your party!
Wanting to stand out from the regular Christmas colours of red, green and gold, we turned to the helpful team at Haymes Paints to select a softer palette to compliment our Nordic Edit. We added touches of these paints to natural surfaces such as pine cones and tree stumps to create an earthy, winter wonderland - a little bit of magic.
This is a super easy way to make your Christmas table just that little bit special. No matter what your theme, you can choose a palette (and your surface) that suits your decor and style.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Pine cones
- Haymes Paint (we chose greyology and mushroom tones)
- Paint Brush
- Plastic Sheet
STEP ONE: Choose your perfect palette - we were lucky enough to be helped by the friendly staff at Haymes, who helped us select our Scandanavian-esque paints.
STEP TWO: Start painting!! Dip your brush in and paint from base up, just covering the tips of the cones.
LENZO Tip: Be generous with the amount of paint you apply to the brush, it will flow on easily and you'll get a better finish.
STEP THREE: Before they dry, sprinkle them with glitter - we used silver to go with our Christmas theme.
STEP FOUR: Now enjoy the prettiness that evolves!
