DIY PAINTED POSY VASES WITH HAYMES PAINT

December 12, 2017
DIY PAINTED POSY VASES WITH HAYMES PAINT

LENZO loves to get creative when hosting an event, especially when it comes to those final finishing touches. We believe that these can make or break an event, so we love to get personal and make our own DIY Party Decorations whenever we get a chance.

For our recent Pastel Pool Party, we decided to add pops of colour through old bean cans repurposed as hand painted vases. We matched our vases perfectly to the colour theme of the event thanks to Haymes Paints and their colour specialists, and they were then filled with gorgeous posies from Dahlia Fandango.

Since, we know you will #LOVE this little trick as much as we do, we have included a step by step guide below. So Enjoy and have a lovely crafternoon!

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Empty bean cans
  • Eucalyptus Oil
  • Cleaning cloth
  • Foam paint roller
  • Drop Cloth
  • 3-4 cans of your favourite pastel coloured Haymes Paints

    METHOD

STEP ONE: Clean the cans to ensure there is no glue left over. We recommend using Eucalyptus Oil and an old cloth to do this.

STEP TWO: Using a foam roller, paint the first coat of your can with Haymes Paint and wait for it to dry.
