Tonight on The Edit, LENZO is a tad excited to share this beautiful DIY pinecone wreath (just in time for Christmas), by the talented folk from Zilverblauw.
We love that the wreath is mostly made by recycled and natural ingredients - making it both a super affordable and sustainable DIY! Oh and we can't go past the #LENZOesque palette - this crew certainly has good taste!!!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Coat Hanger
- Pine cones
- Various Christmas baubles
- Sprigs of eucalyptus
- Two cans of spray paint
- Spool of coppper wire
- Glue gun
STEP ONE: Bend the coathanger into a round shape. Note that this does not need to be perfect as it will eventually be covered.
STEP TWO: Spray the pine cones (and the coat hanger if you want) in whatever colours you desire. Have fun with this step and get your creative on, but allow more time to give them more than one coat!
STEP THREE: After the pine cones are dry, attach them to the coat hanger by wrapping the wire around multiple times.
STEP FOUR: To keep the pinecones extra steady, fix them to one another with the glue gun. Once this is done, have fun by gluing the baubles sporadically.
STEP FIVE: Attach the eucalyptus with the wire by loosely wrapping around each piece and tying to the coathanger.
STEP SIX: Ta Daa! You have now completed the #CUTEST Christmas Wreath ever and you now will be the envy of all your friends!
Love LENZO x
