Tonight on The Edit, LENZO begins the #HOP towards the break with our take on a Easter egg hunt that would envy no others!
The editorial was shot by renowned lifestyle photographer Nikole Ramsay, and was set in the enchanting J Hamer Forest in Victoria, which provided the perfect backdrop to create a wooded wonderland.
To bring the idea alive, we once again teamed up with Castle and Cubby, who made the most amazing bespoke piece for the shoot, which they then painted with a chirpy palette from Haymes Paint. This EXACT cubby is now for hire and sale on their site, and is the perfect addition for your backyard or as a #TooCute setting for your little ones next birthday.
The paint palette of Coral Serenade, Hypnotic and Sunbeam was then incorporated into the hand designed stump seats by the talented Kellie from Castle and Cubby. We totally love this personalised stamp for any occasion or the home and will be bringing you this DIY in the coming weeks #watchthisspace.
We #Easterfied the paper art trend with the lovely Kashia Kennedy designing a range of paper critters and creatures including acorns, flowers and squirrels. We were totally in awe of her DIY paper mache eggs and garland.
Of course the shoot was just ASKING for an #egg-tastic cake, so who better to ask than the creative geniuses from Lamanna Patisserie? Not only did they provide us with TWO Easter cakes, but also some edible meringue cake toppers and the prettiest galettes we have ever seen!
For an healthier option, the kids also sipped on an assortment of Sippah Flavoured Straws, which only have 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar. They are the perfect alternative to soft drinks and meant that we knew the kids were bouncing from joy and not from a sweet overload!
Born to Party shop provided us with a range of their bright partyware, which we mixed and matched to add some fun to the table. To further incorporate the LENZO touch, we also added an abundant of their amazing confetti balloons, which is a trend that is here to stay!
To finish the party look, we added the cutest neon lights from our newest #LightCrushLady Electric Confetti, and some bright flowers from Ivy and Eve. Custom made artwork was produced by our fabulous friends at Wemmy Walls. And we were also lucky enough to include some of the beautiful furnishings from The Woodsfolk, as their name was just #TooOnPoint for the shoot and they are known.
The kids roamed around head to toe in some #egg-straordinarily cute items from our beloved Cotton On Kids. We are especially in love with those #ADORABLE Sparkly Bunny Ugg Boots, and want a pair for ourselves to cozy up in as the winter months start to creep up on us! Hair and makeup artist Kylie Fenech then added that extra bit of sparkle and #TrustUs when we say that her Instagram (@KylieCreative) is a MUST for all those pink lovers out there!
We are so proud of the shoot as it ran so smoothly, but as the night slowly dwindled in and the stars began to emerge, we were ready to return home. It is safe to say that we were exhausted, yet we can't wait to do it for the real deal in a month.
Happy Easter lovelies and have a safe break!
Love LENZO xx
