The fun, fresh and flirty way to celebrate a future wifey!
Call it a hens day, a bachelorette party or a pre-bridal bash, bidding farewell to single life with your gaggle of gal pals is a rite of passage from yesteryear that every bride-to-be deserves.
For our latest LENZO styled editorial, we called in an esteemed group of suppliers at the height of their hens game to show you how to style the most memorable affair (not an occasion she’ll want to forget alongside every ex!).
Ensuring the warmth and vibrancy created by our stylists, suppliers and models on set was as vivid for lovers of all things LENZO at home, Elsa Campbell Photography was on hand to capture these incredibly memorable moments.
While taking inspiration from 2019’s hottest hue – peach - we called for the venue, flowers, props and décor, bar furniture, stationery, decals and desserts to translate the colour into event elements that would stand the test of time. The result? Contemporary colour blocking!
Neptune Food & Wine played the perfectly modern part in our shoot, its incredibly luxe interior being the best backdrop we could have asked for. A celeb style hotspot we’re obsessed with right now, the two-level space is a sleek retreat to relax in featuring an indoor/outdoor atrium, fireplace lounge and exclusive private dining space.
Neptune’s chefs later treated our hen and her private posse to plates of the most deliciously fresh fare, indicative of their modern Mediterranean-inspired menu. Scroll below and start salivating!
Dressed in cool complementary shades of coral, orange, beige and copper by Elliatt and Winona, our models well and truly set the colour-block scene.
Making our models look picture perfect, hair and makeup extraordinaire Carla Dyson exquisitely topped their tresses with a range of Peach It hair accessories (who also provided the ladies’ earrings), while the girls’ Bared Footwear heels had us pining for a pair to take home.
Adding to our current accessorising addiction, The Daily Edited spoiled our hen and her friends with luxury monogrammed gifts. Perfectly personalised for each guest, everyone on set was lusting after their font-driven phone cases and delicately detailed handbags.
Personalisation continued with Pickawall, who humanised our shoot and added absolute heart to our set-up with a range of ridiculously delightful decals. Making a sophisticated and stylish statement on the day, no one need question that it was Gigi being honoured on the big day!
In pretty shades of pink and peach, the coveted creatives at Pickawall personalised tables and mirrors fit for a bride-to-be, finally turning their attention to the floor for the ultimate hens day announcement.
No party is complete without some seriously generous gift giving, and our friends at The Bridal Box Co were similarly on the same page! Specialising in the most gorgeous gift boxes for bridal parties you ever did see, they had us hunting around for a bridal party to join so we could get ourselves gifted!
State of Reverie brought stationery and signage to life on set, their personalised place cards adding a smart, sophisticated touch to our tables. Modern and minimal, their picture-perfect paper artistry was an absolute standout, almost as mesmerising as what was on the actual menu!
Adding to luxury spread out before guests were the crockery, cutlery, plates, cake stands and vases from The Hire Co. A supplier on speed dial, we can always count on The Hire Co to simplify our party planning with the props and décor of our dreams.
Bringing vibrancy and life to any event, we knew flowers would be important in telling our contemporary celebratory story. Having worked with his genius on a numerous occasions, the flowers of our event fantasies became a reality thanks to the floral artistry of Flowers By Brett Matthew John.
We wanted flowers to speak softly of our block colour palette - minus any distractive greenery - and that’s exactly what Brett intelligently delivered through colourful and creative pairings of anthuriums, orchids and roses.
Putting the art into cake art, Blue and Ruby Cake Art provided jaw-dropping sweet treats that – if weren’t deliciously devoured by all – were fit for the finest of galleries!
Displayed gloriously atop a Place Settings bar, Blue and Ruby Cake Art wowed us with creations that were almost too elegant to eat, from their chocolate ganache tarts, vanilla bean cupcakes and limoncello pannacottas to their roasted white chocolate cheesecake cups and the most magical meringue kisses.
When it came to toasting our future wifey, Yellowglen provided pop-worthy bottles of sparkling for our hens guests to sip and get selfie ready with. And forget smartphones, were talking serious selfie business with the help of high-tech photo booth!
VIP Photo Booth came to the camera-ready rescue with a DIY station complete with sequin backdrop and custom props to get our crew in the mood!
