Grab your skates guys + gals and roll on over to LENZO's super cute Kid's Roller Disco Party!!
When planning kids’ parties, our best advice is to do something different and come up with a unique + creative theme – that is why we took inspiration from the good old days of a retro roller disco! Shot at industrial venue Ellis St Studio by Kas Richards, we wanted to inspire you to go #BOLD for your next event and have fun with your underlying concept!
To give the theme a modern feel, we went with a contemporary palette of pastel pink, mint green and silver, and used a gorgeous balloon installation from Belle Balloons, a roller café Pickawall backdrop, and simplistic white block furniture from Place Settings. To finish our setting, we used #DELISH marquee lights and a super cute neon from Little Letter Lights Co, as well as some comfy bean bags from Hip Kids.
Catering for kids is also such a crucial part for a child's party, so we got the amazing Deliciously Yours to create a cake especially for the editorial with matching bespoke stationery, cookies and cupcakes. For the savouries, Damm Fine Food had our back and created such a delectable spread filled with burgers, trucker fries + the most amazing pretzels we have ever snacked on!! We also wanted to go #RETRO with the drinks, so we created classic spiders using everyone’s fave, Cottees Cordial.
The table setting was decked with partyware in the perfect palette from Paper Eskimo, who also lent us the very cute take-home bags that were filled with Deliciously Yours cupcakes #YUM!
In terms of pressies, we love finding those special gifts that keep on giving, and for this Honey and Co, a monthly postal club for kids aged 0-5 is the perfect option. In each gift box, you can expect to find an array of toys and activities to keep your kids’ occupied for the month, and once they begin looking for something new to do, they receive a whole new package of goodies!
To keep the kids occupied in a sophisticated way, you can’t go past a unique photo booth like the ones from Zuster Events, where the little ones can dress up and strike a pose. Here we used Zuster Event’s open booth, and it really was a hit, and was the place where the kids could show off their #StreetStyling threads from Seed Heritage and nostalgic hair + makeup by Tahlia Jade.
And we have to give a special thanks to the talented Amanda May Lee for the amazing bespoke roller piñata, that stopped the show and was the #PERFECT finishing touch for an even more #PERFECT event! Trust us, you will be seeing more of a LENZO x Amanda May Lee collaboration very soon...#WatchThisSpace!
So lovelies, all we have left to say now is #Ready, #Set, #Roll!!
