Tonight on The Edit, we feature the cutest pastel party for a very special 2 year old's birthday!
Melissa created this party for her daughter and has been dreaming of creating an 'ice cream party' for a long time! From here, she adopted the appropriate shades of pastel to bring the party to life, and this palette was brought into everything to make the whole event super cohesive!
Now if you are ever invited to a party with a food theme, we recommend you go on an empty stomach, as it is a sure thing to be filled with decadent delights! This party was clearly no exception, with an abundance of sweets on display for the little ones (and big ones) to snack on. We are obsessed with those personalized Baked by Belle cookies and are loving the idea of replacing a scoop of ice cream with fairy floss. So #CUTE!
And Melissa's top tip:
"Always plan early. I purchase party decor months in advance. Choose your theme and colour scheme and research ideas. I love to craft and add little touches like cutting my own confetti for the balloons."
This is also such a great tip to save a bit of cash too! Thanks Melissa!
