Tonight on The Edit, we bring you a wrap up of the 2015 Spring Racing Carnival - with an emphasis on the hottest looks from Caulfield to Flemington, and the #onpoint marquees that will be shaping the style of the upcoming event season.
This year, the stakes were high in the dress department, with crisp whites and bold colours So hold onto your horses, and let your #fashionenvy grow with our favourite looks from the carnival.
Probably our favourite look of the whole carnival would go to the stunning Vydia Rishie at the Caulfield Cup in this showstopper of a gown from Asilo. We are hoping this dress restocks ASAP because we are #OBSESSED!
And it wasn't just about what people were wearing - well, not completely - and talk also generated about the marquee concepts + styling. These ones were some of our favourites:
Bold Colours? Check. Mixed Metals? Check. Hanging flowers from roof? Check. This year's Myer Marquee was a LENZO dream - sucks that our invite was lost in the mail hey?! We can still admire the Gloss Creative's work from afar though! DAVID JONES
Think mixed textures and a mass of beautiful blooms in shades of pink. David Jones at Caulfield, styled by the Dot Dot Dash team, was truly the epitome of luxe.
Okay, LENZO aren't really into cars and don't understand one thing about them - but the Lexus Marquee created by Mimm Design stunned with it's nest like branches and cool coloured interior. Also, cheese burger spring rolls were on the menu. Do we need to say more?
What a carnival it has been! Until next year....
Love LENZO xx
