You certainly don't need to venture far these days to notice the superfood hype happening all around us. From your breakfast smoothies to your dinner dates, it's fast becoming a part of our everyday lives. And with no complaints from us... not only has it become super easy to fuel your body with the best of the best, but amazingly convenient too!
So with the latest trend of superfood cocktails hitting our aussie shores, you can imagine we have never been so happy to sip on a raspberry, coconut and white rum flamingos since, well…, white rum flamingos! After all, we certainly don't want all that hard work from the week to go to waste, as well as wake up with a nasty hangover. Drinking superfood cocktails, apparently can lessen the day after blues, not only increasing serotonin (as opposed to loosing it) but hydrating your body with coconut water and organic ingredients can't be too bad either. Chia seeds, goji berries, blueberries and figs are up there with the most commonly used ingredients, not to mention coconut water and quinoa vodka!
Apothecary by Eau-de-Vie in Sydney is the latest bar to venture into the superfood world, with some seriously good (for you) cocktails on their degustation menu. The only question now is… who will follow?
