Tonight on The EDIT, we have our wedding contributor, Tamarin Morley from Nouba here to give some insight to picking the perfect veil.  For even more inspiration, she also shares a selection of the latest looks for the upcoming winter wedding season.

So over to you Tamarin!

If the mention of bridal veils immediately conjures images of demure, traditional, perfectly-bunned brides, then you’re in for a bit of a treat. When it comes to the veil, styles are as unique as the brides who wear them and can transform a look like few other accessories can.

Rather than a full dress change from ceremony to reception, many of the brides we feature prefer to switch things up with a veil for the vows and a flower crown for the festivities. This small costume change can completely change the effect of your look and doesn’t require the pricey purchase of a second dress!

Whether it’s a romantic, bohemian, vintage, edgy or modern vibe you’re seeking, you might be surprised to find there’s almost certainly a veil to complement your mood. Most veil guides will focus primarily on length (shoulder, elbow, fingertip, chapel, cathedral… you get the jist) but I’d prefer to run through some of the looks and trends that are tickling our fancy right now.
